The Idea

We plan to install a complete, innovative and patented electronic board processing line.

First, the boards are automatically disassembled and the components sorted.

Then, copper will be separated from the bare board substrate.

Finally, gold, silver, copper and palladium are extracted from the sorted components.

PCB Disassembling :

Each board is disassembled automatically. Bare boards are separated from components. An optical sorting system sorts the components into categories. A module on the same machine separates copper and substrate from the boards.

Components Processing:

Components are processed by type in a closed hydrometallurgy system. This process uses 60% less solvent than processing a whole board. Emissions remain very low, well below current standards. Gold, palladium and silver are recovered at the end of the chain at very high levels of purity.
